About Me
I’m Miles, and I am Trevelyan Films. I grew up watching my parents’ Super 8 home movies, and that’s the feeling I’m still chasing: films your family will treasure in 50 or 100 years. Before settling in North Devon, I spent over a decade in South India running a music production company, and that ear for rhythm shapes every film I cut.
I love capturing each couple’s unique story and retelling it through the personal moments of their day. My style is unobtrusive, but I notice every detail. For the couple shoot, I’ll scout the best spots in advance, and when we get there I’ll guide you so you look natural and feel comfortable, without a camera in your face all day.
Intimate And Emotionally Powerful
My films are intimate and cinematic without feeling staged. I look for happy accidents, small glances and pockets of natural light, then pull back for drone shots that show off where you married.
I know you’ve spent countless hours planning every detail, from the petals in your bouquet to the words in your vows. My job is to make sure none of it is lost.

My number one goal is to create something you and your family will value for decades, whether that calls for quiet, observational moments or sweeping cinematic ones.
NUMBER ONE GOAL
I’m comfortable working discreetly on long lenses, or getting up close for artfully staged shots. For combo packages, I bring in trusted photographers and second filmmakers from my team, so nothing is missed.
The most rewarding part of my work is capturing tender, timeless moments and weaving them into a story as individual as the two of you, one you’ll retell again and again.
